Vic: Jail for man who attacked and urinated in aisle on flight
A Canadian man's been jailed in Melbourne after assaulting flight attendants and urinating
in the aisle during a flight from Hong Kong this month.
The Melbourne Magistrates Court heard that 39-year-old ELGUIZ SANTANA CANALES VILLATORO
became increasingly intoxicated and disruptive on the flight.
The incidents occurred four hours into a Cathay Pacific Flight from Hong Hong to Melbourne
on December the 3rd.
When flight attendants refused to serve him more alcohol he screamed obscenities, became
physically aggressive, and urinated on the floor and against the toilet door.
CANALES VILLATORO was met by Australian Protection Services officers at Melbourne Airport.
He's pleaded guilty to three counts of assault and one count of behaving in an offensive
and disorderly manner.
Magistrate TERRY WILSON says CANALES VILLATORO'S behaviour was abominable.
Mr WILSON sentenced him to three months' jail.
