Whitney Frary, Sr., Niskayuna
Selected as the Suburban Council and Section II Class AA Player of the Year in 2008, Frary propelled the Silver Warriors to an appearance in the Class AA final.
Even though Frary often saw double-teaming tactics, the senior striker topped Niskayuna with 24 goals and 7 assists. The Silver Warriors scored 41 goals overall.
A first-team Class AA all-state selection, Frary is the only Section II player named an All-American by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America. The senior is set to attend the NSCAA Coaches Convention in St. Louis on Jan. 19.
