After-school program

ST. THOMAS - Frederick Evangelical Lutheran Church will hold anafter-school computer competency program for ninth and 10th grades.

Students will be required to attend two days a week of computerbasics, Power Point and Internet research and one-day in an at-riskcounseling program.

Ninth-graders meet Mondays and Wednesdays; 10th-graders, Tuesdaysand Thursdays. On Fridays, all students meet.

Cost is $10 per month per student.

Danish exhibit

ST. THOMAS - The Hebrew Congregation of St. Thomas celebrates the60th anniversary of the rescue of Danish Jews with an art exhibit atLilienfeld House across from the synagogue on Crystal Gade.

The 36 poster panels and texts tell the story of how the Danesprotected, hid and saved more than 981/2 percent of that country'sJewish population in 1943.

The exhibit is open to the public from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Mondayto Friday and from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays through December.
