NSW: Police charge Sydney couple over $180,000 heroin haul
SYDNEY, April 16 AAP - A Sydney couple will appear in Parramatta Court tomorrow charged
with supplying a prohibited drug after police seized heroin with an estimated street value of
$180,000 today.
Detectives from Strike Force Northhampton arrested the 37-year-old man and his wife, 35,
from Edensor Park in Sydney's west, at Canley Vale at around 4pm today after an operation
lasting several days, a police spokesman said.
The man has been charged with two counts of supplying a prohibited drug and his wife has
been charged with one count, the spokesman said.
Both were refused bail.
