Safeguard Security Holdings, Inc., a provider of corporate, industrial and residential security solutions, announced Acquient Technologies, a new technology division, specializing in security technology integration, sales and service.

R. Michael Lagow, CEO to Safeguard, Acquient's parent company, said, "Our new Acquient Technology unit provides custom security software solutions, and web-based security program management tools, across diverse technology platforms, to fully manage and control a client's entire security network, including access control, closed circuit television, parking control, gate control, door control and employee access, through our sophisticated software tool." Lagow added, "Acquient's new product line helps to economize our client's costs of their overall security operations by managing all of their facilities, no matter where they are located, on a single web-based platform through the internet, yielding our clients a significant savings overall."
Lagow said, "Our web-based software management tools will significantly enhance our overall services we offer to our clients. These types of 'value-add' services have a positive impact on our future revenues. We have estimated that Acquient will produce $1.5 million in contract revenue this calendar year, growing at a 30 percent rate per annum, yielding a 10 percent EBITDA."

According to a release, Safeguard is a fully-integrated sole- source security solutions provider offering a converged suite of physical and electronic services through its operating subsidiaries. It provides corporate, government and residential clients with a broad array of security services ranging from highly trained armed and unarmed guards, security management staffing, and security staff outsourcing, to installation and maintenance of integrated electronic security solutions, background investigations, video monitoring, and specialized consulting services as may be required to support the varying security needs of its clients.
